Bathing water status update

As we have bathing water status, the Environment Agency checks our water quality 20 times over the year.

Last year it failed 3 times, once over the summer and 2 more times. This meant we got a poor classification.

Wessex Water also tests it and they have been training an AI monitor which now gives real time info on whether the river is currently high or low risk. This can be viewed on https://www.waterqualitylive.info/
